Es un libro muy actual y muy didáctico, el mejor de los existentes en el mercado.
This looks like a great update to the core text for our course on computer architecture. I think we will move to either this book or the RISC-V version in the next academic year. I will suggest my co-lecturer on the course review that book.
This is a great book to teach computer organization at undergraduate level. I have been using it for the past 6 years and have had great results in the classroom.

Aparte de la actualización de contenidos, me parece muy importante haber rescatado la descripción del modelo de camino de datos multiciclo, esencial en la docencia de esta materia, y que había desaparecido de ediciones anteriores. Echo de menos un tema específico de E/S, que también existía en ediciones anteriores a la 5ª.

I am utilizing zyBook which has this as the core textbook. I have adapted this book for Fall 2022
I am curious to know why "Storage and other I/O Topics" chapter from 4th edition is deleted in next editions? I noticed in edition 6, that "intrupts" are mentioned in for example chapter 6 but there is no information about interrupts in the book. So how do you explain it?
This text has been adopted by me for 525.612. I have concerns about the need to move to RISCV and I am evaluating a text by the same authors.
This is an excellent textbook with several examples and end-of-chapter problems. We use the book for Electrical and Computer Engineering seniors.
I am exited to teach this course to under graduate students. Hope this book will help the students to gain knowledge and incubate their ideas.
