This book is great at many levels. Provides a concise and coherent explanation of all the terminology used in Optometry and extends its concept to Vision Science. The list of abbreviations, pre- and suffixes is a delight and I believe it to be extremely helpful for Optometry and Vision Science students.
Good for students to refer to when needed
This is a great resource for all Optometry students and qualified Optometrists too!
With access to education and content becoming even more important with the diversity of our students, I believe this book will be extremely useful as a reference point. It provides quick and easy access to Optometric terms. A digital copy that students can access on their phones will be particularly useful - if they come across phrases or terms they don't quite understand in lectures/seminars, they can quickly refer to this. A good supplementary item for students.
I recommend this as a glossary to be used in combination with other resources (and can also be used for other modules).
This book is recommended as a good point of reference for understanding the new terminology presented to students, not just in my module but throughout a lot more in the study of optometry.
