This book fits nicely for a course in drug development for master students in pharmacy. It covers the most important topics from drug discovery and lead identification, until approval and licensing. It would be nice with a chapter on in silico methods in drug discovery. For instance similarity screens of virtual chemical libraries, pharmacophor modelling, or in silico docking of lead compounds to target proteins. Besides that, I think the book is very comprehensive, and inspiring for pharmacy students considering a career in research.
