Book Reviews

"The atlas covers the breadth of contemporary colorectal surgery practice with considerable weight given to open abdominopelvic surgery, minimally invasive major colon resections, and anorectal techniques. Pelvic dissections are beautifully represented in both pictures and illustrations with concise stepwise text. The challenging representation of TEMS techniques is tackled, and appropriately pays significant attention to patient positioning.

The exhaustive library of images and illustrations this atlas provides makes this an important reference and worthy addition to the library of any practicing surgeon or resident. The dilemma of finding "just a nice picture of that" has been solved." - John C. Byrn, MD(University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics) Doody 4 stars!
