La obra de Patton & Thibodeau se convierte en un importante apoyo para el estudio de la fisiopatología desde un nivel básico de aproximación a la materia. Los conceptos anatomofisiológicos más importantes están perfectamente desarrollados en el texto y reflejados con el material gráfico que lo acompaña. La inclusión de reseñas clínicas en cada tema abordado ayuda a que el lector se introduzca con facilidad en el campo de las patologías. En definitiva, una buena obra para los estudiantes de ciencias biomédicas que se introducen por primera vez en la fisiopatología.
Se trata de un libro muy bien organizado, con textos claros, imágenes estupendas y complementos de aprendizaje (resúmenes, esquemas y preguntas) muy didácticos.
